okay, i have been m.i.a. for a few wees now thanks to all sorts of computer issues. there's several new faces, so i thought i would post another one of these to see if i can get some more lines sorted out in order to be more active finally. this is seth moryson, and his credits are here. he is from toronto, canada. he was 17 when his band after sunset (credits of the calling) was discovered in 2001. the band toured the world before they broke up for good in 2004. since then, seth has been working on some solo work (credits of alex band, of course) and writing for himself and others. he got into acting, and appeared in episodes of supernatural and psych. he moved to la a couple years ago, and currently stars as finn in glee.
his parents split up when he was 12 in a bitter divorce that got him caught in the middle, which caused him to rebel through high school until the band came along. he wound up dropping out not long after their first single came out. he doesn't get along with his family at all, and his former bandmates don't really talk to him, either, after all the fighting that broke the band apart. because of this, he doesn't trust people very much, but he can get along with almost anyone when he is in a good mood. he's also friends with ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) lennix and necole. he mostly could use some more friends so that he can come out of his shell, but anything is good. |

Hey all!
This is Isaac Randall, little brother to lorienr and big (half)brother to daisymae. He got his start in Trainspotting (though he had done theatre back in Australia and bit commercials around LA since '94) and hasn't looked back since. His credits are here and as you may be able to tell, there's no real pattern behind when he works and when he doesn't. Since he can finally afford to be picky, he is (he also has a habit of picking up bit roles in his sister's movies) Personallity wise, he's pretty quiet and anti-Hollywood unless he's around family. He's not an ass persay, but he doesn't have much tolerance for those who don't take their job as seriously as he does and while he doesn't call people out on it, he probably judges your character if they're known for their partying then thier body of work. With that said, I'd love lines...co-stars, manfriends, people he's been linked to, ex's, etc. |

Since we've had an influx (and I haven't done this in a while) I figured I'd put her out there for some lines/connections/asshattery.
This is Sharlene Johnston, 43, originally from Cincinnati OH, who's mom is Canadian and dad was from Alabama. She's the oldest of 5 kids and is big on her family. (Her younger sister Lena (lejohn) is a singer who was just on Dancing With The Stars, Nola Sloane nolas is her cousin) and currently lives in Malibu, CA. She tries to be socially aware and conscious, is a big supporter of the LiveStrong Foundation, a big supporter of equating gay marriage rights as a civil rights cause, since some of her closest friends are indeed gay and married, and dabbles in learning about politics from time to time. Recently a lot of the time.
She's filming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button at the moment, as Queenie, which is why she's been so quiet of late. As an actress, she's best known for being an action star primary. Her two biggest roles to date are Zoë Washburne from Firefly & Serenity and Storm from the X-Men series. She's fallen out of touch with a lot of her co-stars from both, though she still considers herself close to Lee Womack (leemack) who played her husband, Wash, in Firefy and they love to make the papparazzi lose their minds with occasions 'are they or aren't they' stories, much less than they used to, but once in a while for old times sake. She's also very good friends with Marten Culer (marten), thinks Hallie Brandston (hbrandston)is the cutest thing on the planet and Anne Williamsen (williamsen) sings her jams yo. She also has a very odd and uncertain friendship with Rep. Gregory Meiers (meirs) who she's considering working for. (I'm stealing eckharte's name dropping techniques!) There's also a ton of people that she thinks are fantastic (Yes, she hasn't forgotten you Milo and Celeste I just STINK)
For all that, she doesn't talk to many folks, which is a shame. She really REALLY would love some more female friends to talk with, shop with, and for them to torment her for trying to set her up with people (SOMEONE already nominated her for the charity auction haha sneaky person) and to just to generally joke around with. As always I'd love to get someone to play her 2nd ex-husband that she just finished filming with and is about to go start doing press for Eagle Eye with in a few months.

Okay, so, I've been meaning to do this for ages because I've been so inactive that I'm pretty sure most people have no idea who this guy is. Whoops. BUT, we can remedy that. So, this is West Greene, brother to cassgreene and best friend/boyfriend of julietevans. His favorite people in the world include briannarose, hbrandston, and tslang... all of whom are blonde, I've just noticed. Weird.
Anyway, while he'd describe himself as awesome (and frequently does), most of the time he's a bit of a pain in the ass. He's shamelessly ridiculous, known for being a prankster around set (especially with Jules), and is generally just a very charming guy who's almost never serious. Except when he's in character. Speaking of which, West would be the ever-infamous Edward Cullen. He generally takes the insanity in stride and makes a good number of bad jokes about the twi-moms. He's incredibly laid-back. Only upsetting Jules or Cass (or one of his girls) will get him riled up, and even then he's pretty calm about it.
He's the son of a well-known director (think a Spielberg type), so he could probably have some connections due to family. His credits are here, and include Logan in Veronica Mars and then the Twilight franchise. He'll also be playing Captain Kirk in the upcoming Star Trek movie, which is set to begin filming in.. January, I think? So I'd love to get some stuff set up with all of those people. Also, anyone in the Gossip Girl cast is likely to know him, because he essentially never leaves Jules' side, meaning he spent a lot of time hanging around that set. I think that's about it! I'd love some more lines/random connections/whatever.
edit: And as hbrandston helpfully reminded me.. he could really use some male friends. |

Now that I finally finished her up, I'm in desperate need of some lines for this chicka. This is Halley, a super nerd who likes to pretend she is cool. She lives in London (as she doesn't know many people there and change of seasons ftw) and is convinced her flat is haunted. She is very mischievous and was infamous as a child for starting food fights at big hollywood parties. As she got older, she became known for her partying antics. She started acting when she was 18ish but only got the roles because of her famous last name (her father is a director/actor by the likes of mel brooks/jack nicholson). Though acting is what she loves, she later found success with music instead. She has the voice of Amy Winehouse and the troubles to go with it (including a 15 minute stint in rehab that she says never happened). She has been clean since April of last year, though she doesn't talk about it to the press. Her getting clean is the reason she moved to London, though she is thinking of moving back to New York. Her credits are here and she tends to lean towards comedic roles.
she is cousins with berard, best friends with zella, maybe astrd and demetres, dated lastings and has something with wilke maybe? As far as lines go, she still needs everything! i'd love to figure out some hilarious situations to throw our characters in. With Halley's hyperactivity, anything goes. |

Often times when a bill is put through Congress, it comes with multiple compromises added in to assure the overall bill is passed. Sometimes, these compromises can water down the strength of the original bill. Other times, these compromises mean that money is spend on things that aren't even directly related to the bill (you may know these are earmarks, or "pork"). It is understood in Washington that these things are a necessary evil. Without them, many bills would not be passed and the process would be even slower and ineffective than it is now. Here is my question to you: How do YOU feel about these compromises? Would it be better to get a bill that serves the greater good passed even if it has faults and perhaps isn't as good as it could be and take this as the cost of doing business, or would it be better to kill it all together and stand up against these changes? |

Hello, I am going to be bringing in Michael Fallon.
Michael Fallon was born in New York, NY as the illegitimate son to Jane Conway, a prostitute who was an immigrant of Anglo-Irish lineage from Dublin, Ireland. The father of Michael has never been identified. At age two, his mother placed him in a foster home, where he spent most of his early years in a Roman Catholic orphanage run by nuns, never to see his birth parents again. He was shuttled around various homes and orphanages, where he suffered physical abuse and verbal abuse at the hands of various foster parents. When he was 9 years old, Fallon's foster father died in a car crash he lost control of the car when he turned around to hit Fallon, who was riding in the back seat. The deceased man's widow, who was in the car as well but survived, blamed Fallon for the accident and gave him regular beatings until he was taken back into care.
The “Fallon” family finally adopted him and he took the family name of Fallon. Jeff and Aileen Fallon treated Mike like he was their own flesh and blood and Mike even felt like their daughter Katie were like his own sister, however Mike couldn’t help the lonely and slightly bitter feelings of what he had been thought but what hurt the worst was the idea that his own parents didn’t want him. All of those heavy feelings he had were carried around like luggage. Everyone told him it was not his fault that his parents did not want him or that his foster parents treated him like a dog but Mike still could not help to feel angry and confused. Mike was normal except he was scared of the dark, a bit anti social, and dealt with bouts of depression.
As he approached his teens, Mike began seeing a child physiologist to help him deal with some of his issues. She suggested that Mike found himself a hobby or sport to get into. Mike played football, and baseball but he found his true love in acting when he played the Cowardly Lion in his school's production of The Wizard of Oz. and to make a long story even longer he went to a performing arts school and slowly got into doing Kellogg’s commercials which lead to movies and then his own hit sitcom during the 80’s. He spent the 90’s washed up and depress and on drugs. Now he has made a major comeback with his roles in Troy, Law and Order SVU and a couple of other movies.
I am looking for other teen idols that he partied with during the late 80’s and early 90’s. I have a line in mind for a former teen starlet who had a very much public on again off again relationship who got pregnant but never told Mike and is finally comforting him about it since his career has taken back off and he is clean from the drugs. I could use his sister who is also in the business maybe as an actor or maybe as his agent or someone behind the scene who is kind of his support. I also would like someone to play Det. Olivia Benson on Law and Order SVU his co-star |

this is annie sullivan who is an actress and musician with musical credits of fiona apple. she grew up in the spotlight. she was born into a family of two big name actors and her older brother is in the industry as well. her family was already causing scandals before she was even born. her father left his pregnant girlfriend to marry her mother who was already pregnant with her oldest brother. her father pushed her into show business right away. annie got involved in the modeling industry by the time she could talk and walk. she enjoyed modeling since it was playing dress up all day but the comments and criticism she got still stays with her today. her father also convinced her to start playing the piano before she even started school which is one thing she still loves today. her father wanted his little girl who was also the baby of the sullivan family to be perfect. he emotionally abusive and on few occasion psychically abusive. for years she tried to make him happy which made her fear to show who she really was. after years of modeling she got her first acting role as harriet in harriet the spy. she realized how much she loved acting and knew she wanted to do nothing else. as much as she wanted to act her father didn't think it was a good idea so that was the end of that. in 2005, annie's older brother jeremy committed suicide. annie was really close to him and was hit really hard when it happened. she felt like there was no one to talk to and the media wouldn't stop bugging her. she blamed her parents and went to the court to get emancipated from them when she was only 16. she finally got what she wanted and most importantly, she got to make her own decisions. after her brother's death she didn't turn her back on her family completely because through the whole tragic she got closer with her oldest brother thatcher who she really didn't have a relationship with at all before the event. from the moment she got to make her own decision she was already breaking the rules and living her life on the edge. she has a past with drugs but it has always been a 'don't ask, don't tell' sort of thing. she is very motivated when it comes to her career. once she was on her own she started putting her heart into every role she took. she has always been really passionate about music because it's her way to get away from things. she shocked everyone with her music/voice when she took time off to focus on it. the media is constantly bugging her about her weight saying that she has a eating disorder and that she is out of control. she is really private when it comes to what she shares with people but underneath her extremely hard exterior she is somewhat of a nice girl. she is really sarcastic which can come off as bitchy. people think she is crazy because she has a lot of quirky ways and she sometimes has meltdowns which involves her committing herself into a psych ward after her brother's death for a little bit. she spends her time in nyc.
her credits are in the journal and i honestly need anything! all i have is that she is thatcher's little sister so if you know him you probably would know her. if you need anything filled, i'd be happy to try and do so. |

hello all! this is juri guðón (pronounced you-ree guth-shj-own), an indie icelander with the credits of sigur rós played by eddie redmayne. here are his directory and discography (með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust hasn't been released yet, it's slated for a release in 2010!). now that all that technical stuff is out of the way, i'll talk about his personality! some of you may know him from years ago (i'm looking at you, harling) but to those who don't, juri is a musical prodigy, womanizer, and egomaniac who speaks with intentionally bad english. egomaniac, however, doesn't necessarily mean jerk. he can be an asshole to people whose music he doesn't respect and is generally blatant and judgmental when talking to other people but at the same time if you're his friend he's unusually thoughtful and sweet, despite the constant teasing. he currently lives in nyc with his nine year old son, bjorn, (which is a whole story in itself that really only his close friends are familiar with) and just works on music, making trips back to iceland frequently. so! lines! juri is incredibly active in the music scene so if your kid is a musician (particularly one of the indie variety) i'd say juri has run into them at one point or another. also, despite his independent roots, he can get pretty caught up in the whole gossip/hollywood/tabloids scene, so if your characters are looking to pick up any extra scandal i'm sure we could work something out! |

hi everyone. i thought i'd try to throw jesse out for some lines in hopes to work him out a little better. born and bred in london, jesse spent his childhood years performing on the stage. he was involved in many theatrical productions and was part of a theatre group well into his young teens. a great deal of his time was spent rehearsing and therefore, much like the boys he grew up with, he didn't have the normal upbringing and tonka trucks sort of life. once in his teens he decided he really didn't want to act anymore and felt a little silly constantly rehearsing (sometimes as female roles) for countless shakespearean and other famous british playwrights. instead he moved on to comedy. he was awkward, he could tease people with no problem, and he was so used to performing that he had a knack for thinking on his feet. doing little comedy stints here and there, he ended up leaving the industry for a few years in order to take his secondary education seriously. after not being in a proper school setting for so long he believed he owed it to himself. in school he ended up meeting a band that had been in and out of singers, not to mention constantly changing their name. joining them in his second year, they went on to form a band that sounds a lot like the fratellis. meeting the right people over the years, the band made a name for themselves in the uk. once his title as the king of indie was set, he was asked to appear on an episode of never mind the buzzcocks. . with a good run, he was asked to host for two years, much like simon amstell. like simon he's teased people into walking off the show, has quite a bizarre sense of humor and has no problem speaking his mind. after his run in 2008, the band ended up moving to LA thanks to the help of his promoting cousin (which would be great to have filled). with songs on tv shows, and current recording, they're doing their best to get bigger in the north american market. i'd love an english band that helped them get a little bigger, bands they've toured with, friends he's met in the industry and people he's been linked to as "that british indie kid" and exes and really anything. although he moved in 2008, i'm sure he toured smaller venues before that. anything goes! |
